Money for Nothing informs Gather readers of free opportunities to earn money and/or gift certificates online through paid-to-read-e-mail organizations, survey companies, and rewards programs. Unlike many sites online, this group does not charge for its information, and all programs are free to join.

This is a quality, not quantity based group. I'm not here to rack up Gather points. The group may only have one new article per month, but you will be able to count on what you find here. It may be a small group, but I'm not concerned about that. It has great members!

Every program reviewed here will be free. Every program will allow you to reach pay out without referring anyone. And every program will have paid out to its author or his/her referrer before it's posted here. I've been doing PTRs for a long time, and the group rules stated below are here to protect the members. So, here are the updated article posting rules.

* Articles are welcome, but the group will be moderated.

* No off topic articles or photos will be allowed. None. At all.

* Please, don't "spam" the group with "updates" on an article every few days. Most of these are obvious ploys to re-post your referral link. This does not include genuine updates when, for instance, you've just gone through a huge earning spurt (i.e. Michelle's updates when she bought referrals from bux.to), or a program increases its number of paid e-mails or its pay out rate.

* This groups is *only* for FREE (no really let me yell that again, FREE programs. That means it's free for all of us to join, and that what we'll refer others to is also free. That means completely free. No cost. Nothing to buy. Ever. (Can anyone tell I've had to decline a huge number of paid marketing scheme articles recently and "can't miss" books or CD sets on Internet marketing?)

* Please, only post programs that you have already been paid by. This ensures that your fellow members don't waste their time with a non-paying program. If your article doesn't include information on when and how you were paid, I'll comment on it and ask, then wait for a reply, before accepting the article. If you can't document that you've been paid, it will be declined.

* Please, don't copy and paste press releases from the program's sites. Please, only post your original work. (A great example of original work is Suze P.'s coverage of the changes Netwinner went through in February.)

I'll update this as new issues arise. Please, don't take this the wrong way. It's because we have such a great group and we're going through a growth spurt that I'm updating the guidelines. I've had to decline so much lately. I really just want to let the new and potential members know what's cool here and what's not.
